The work of Point West Painting takes place on the traditional and unceded territory of the Lək̓ʷəŋən-speaking Songhees , Esquimalt and WSÁNEĆ peoples. Our work often expands across a large part of the Coast Salish Territories on the southern tip of Vancouver Island. We would like to show our gratitude and respect to these peoples as the original caretakers of this landscape and the beautiful traditions and cultural practices that have been woven into the fabric of this land since time immemorial.
