Dylan West founded his first painting and contracting company in 2009 after relocating from 100 Mile House to Vancouver Island. With a background in the log home building industry, he quickly honed his skills in painting and carpentry, discovering a true passion for transforming spaces through the art of paint.

From 2009 to 2017, Dylan refined his craft and specialized in high-end painting projects, ultimately realizing his love for enhancing luxury spaces with fresh, vibrant coats of paint. This growing passion and the increasing demand for skilled painters led him to launch Point West Painting in 2017.

Since its inception, Point West Painting has become a trusted name for homeowners seeking exceptional, high-quality paint jobs. Dylan’s team is made up of individuals who share his commitment to excellence, ensuring every project results in a stunning home transformation.

In 2022, Dylan expanded his expertise by earning a UBC certification in industrial wood finishing, giving him the knowledge and confidence to enter the field of cabinet refinishing and spray finishing millwork on Vancouver Island.

In 2024, Dylan further solidified his expertise by becoming a Certified Red Seal Painter & Decorator, a prestigious recognition of his skill and dedication to the craft.
